The Best in Town!. The Tavern has the best food in town! It has a lot of history for the little historic town of Abingdon. It has been around for hundreds of years. The best item on their menu is their Filet Mignon, which has a blue cheese stuffing and sweetened sauce with fresh vegetables. Prices are expensive, but its worth every penny! Its a classy place with a nice atmosphere. (Candlelight dinner or you can sit on the back patio outside.) Its always a place to go and get a drink and order appetizers. If you are in Abingdon, you have to go!
