Got harassed by owner/management. Ok. So after miserable service we called the restaurant to let them know they needed to talk to their server. Manager we talked to tried to argue with us so we ended the call. We got a call back from them right after with them trying to argue with us again. We asked them not to call back. They call again just to call us names. Harassment is a crime. I suggest no one eat here.

Rude owner--stuck up, prissy waitresses. Well, first this place is only unique in that it has the most atrocious service. The place is downright horrible.

When I arrived it was not too busy. I requested to sit near a seat with a view of the river, but the waitress acted like she could not hear me. After she left I re-seated myself at a vacant table near the windows. When this little stuck, prissy snippet of a girl came back she said she would have to ask the owner if I could remain in the seat that I chose for myself. She then came back and told me that I would have to move up to another table. She said that section was closed. Since she was moving me to a table that had a window view, I agreed. While I sat there she brought some well-to-do snotty looking people in and sat them in the seat that I had just vacated in the section that she claimed was closed.

I did not say nothing at first, but the more I sat there and thought about it, the more it pissed me off. So I got up and proceeded to leave. She seen me and ran off to tell the manager, who confronted me at the door, ranting on about how I created a contract to pay when I ordered. he said he would call the police, I told the fruitcake to go ahead, I was not paying to eat at place that had such service. As I was going out to my car, one of his flunkys came out like he was trying to get my tag number. He was lucky he did not come up to my car, or there would have been a reason to call the cops.

I called an attorney the day before. He said I could have sued his stupid butt if I had waited around to see if he called the cops for harassment.

My first and last dining here.. Riverfront Seafood, Kingsport, Tennessee, and Mr. Wayne Mishitti, can take his so call seafood place, and shove it forever more in his rude rectum! I made reservations for Myself, my date, and three other couples, all from out-of-town. Expecting a cordial greeting from a host, and showing our out of town guest some East Tennessee hospitality, turned into a very rude session on our reservations being right at 6pm, and we need to get on with the dinner, he had the same table reserved for another party after us. I normally don't argue with such a moron, but after several sharp rude comments, he don't know how close he come to getting a good Tennessee Red neck buttkickin' from a couple of good ole boys that were with me! I walked away and were finally seated, which the more friendly waiter calmed the situation down. We ate, paid the bill, (18% tip added by them), service charge added for parties of eight or more ??, and left the place, with everyones vote to never return again! The food was fairly good, and the place was nice, but Mr. in-charge, turns your dining experience into a nightmare. Will not go back, Will not recommend under no circumstances!! Turns out from conservations, he is like that to everyone. His day is coming, some short fused hungary walk-in, will knock him flat, at his first rude gester!

Rude owner. The seafood is good. The salad is not worth the money. Our server was distracted and we rarely saw her. If you complain to the owner, he becomes very agitated and rude. He doesn't seem cut out for the service industry. Probably won't go back since good seafood can be had a number of places in the tri cities.

User review by myvols. I first noticed the restaurant was very clean, the people that worked there was very neat and clean. The food was good, served HOT and the service was fast. The prices was not bad. I would much rather driver to Netherland Inn road as to Johnson City. Give it a try.

EVEN THE FISH LIKE THIS ONE. FOOD IS COOK TO ORDER, FAST EFFICIENT SERVE. DOWN HOME, COUNTRY COOKING, JUST LIKE MOM'S. PLACED NEXT TO THE RIVER WITH AN OUTDOOR DECK. PRICES ARE EXCELLENT.
