Excellent Vet
by Karen H
I've taken all of my dogs to Cherry Pt. Animal Hospital and they've received nothing but the best of care. One of my dogs had severe hip dysplasia and had both of his hips operated on when he was a mere year old. Duke is now 7 years old and doing GREAT.
I couldn't ask for better, higher quality care. There are less expensive vets, but none as excellent as Cherry Point.
- Pros: Excellent, quality care.
- Cons: Bit more expensive, but worth it.
The Best

Well we are from Florida and had 2 great kids(dogs)and when we moved here we had to find a vet for our male dog.I heard of Dr Cherry from a friend I work with so I took him there. Not knowing my dog from poo,and my boy was a bad kid.Dr Cherry came in and took care of him as if he had known him all his life, which by the way he passed away here 1 yr ago.I had never seen a place care more then at Cherry Point,Dr Cherry is a kind man to my furry kids and now I have 2 new kids he/they have been there for them also ,we have boarded both at the same time for 3 days and they were taken care of very well, price for both was less then $50, If you think there prices are high, GO TO FLORIDA, Cherry Point is the BEST VET IN TOWN
- Pros: Caring people
- Cons: can't find any

My husband and I left our dog here overnight from Sat. morning to Sunday afternoon. We had never used their kennel before. We dropped our dog off on Saturday morning and was quoted $14 for 1 night of boarding. Even though you can pick your animals up on Sunday's they still charge another $14 for the night, because their staff have to come in on a Sunday? Not sure why due to their kennel being open 7 days a week with the Sunday pick-up's. So we had to pay $28 for one night of boarding. But, when we went to pick him up we were charged for 3 nights. I had to explain that we had just dropped him off the previous day a few times to the office staff. One staff member held up my contact in front of like 15 other people in the lobby to show what I had signed and I said yes I know, but my dog was just here for 1 night. We had just made reservations for our dog for the 1 night. After finally getting that straightened out, we got our dog in the car, he smelled horrible! His blanket stunk as well and smelled of urine. So after getting home we had to bathe the dog, wash his bedding, and clean the backseat of the car. I question now what their kennel looks like, since you have to drop your animals off at the desk. I am a social worker and I would NEVER leave my dog at this place again! DO NOT recommend it!
